THE PROPOSAL FOR MATISA STREET 8 ENVISIONS TWO MULTI-STOREY RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS WITH COMMERCIAL PREMISES, UNDERGROUND PARKING, AND LANDSCAPED COURTYARDS. THE DESIGN RESPECTS HISTORIC INDUSTRIAL ARCHITECTURE WHILE INTRODUCING MODERN ELEMENTS SUCH AS A TOWER VOLUME, CONTRASTING MATERIALS AND OPEN PUBLIC ACCESS FROM THREE DIRECTIONS.
A BUILDING IS PLANNED WITH 7 ABOVE-GROUND FLOORS AND 48 APARTMENTS; B BUILDING WITH 6 FLOORS AND 27 APARTMENTS.
THE PROJECT INCLUDES ENERGY-EFFICIENT SYSTEMS, HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS AND COMPLIES FULLY WITH RIGA HISTORIC CENTER DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS.
