THE PROPOSAL FOR TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT | GEMOSS | 2020
The RESEARCH area at Mūkusalas Street 75A is located next to the Salu Bridge, near the Mūkusalas Street roundabout. The area contains the Gemoss restaurant supply store as well as several warehouses and ancillary buildings. The work involved an analysis of the existing situation within the context of the surrounding blocks, and several development concepts for the territory were created.
The final development concept envisions the preservation and expansion of the existing Gemoss store, the creation of new warehouses, and the construction of a new commercial center with warehouses and a significant proportion of green space in its landscaping. A draft project for the territory was developed and approved based on this development proposal, and the design for the planned commercial and warehouse center has now begun.
